Confidentiality
Which model, where it runs, and what happens to your input
Every serious buyer asks this. Here are the direct answers.
- The provider is Mistral, a European company. Your data stays inside the EU. In this market that is an unusual choice. We made it on purpose.
- Your input is never used to train models, ours or anyone else's.
- You review before you send. Remove confidential information from what goes to the model, rather than finding out afterwards what was included.
- An administrator can switch it off entirely for the whole environment. If your policy says no AI, you change one setting.
- An administrator supplies the context the generator works from (background about your organization) so suggestions are grounded in your situation instead of in generic business language.
What AI is good at here, and what it is not
Teams that expect the wrong thing end up disappointed, so here is where the line runs.
It is good at the blank page. Staring at an empty Objective field with eight people in the room is not a productive use of a session. A draft on the screen, even a mediocre one, turns a silence into an argument, and the argument is the valuable part.
It is good at wording. Making a sentence shorter, sharper or more concrete is a task with a clear right answer, and the AI explains what it changed so you can disagree with it.
It is not good at choosing. A strategy is a decision about what you will stop doing, taken by people who will live with the consequences. No model knows which of your two plausible routes fits your organization, your capacity and your appetite for risk. It will happily produce five reasonable-sounding strategies, and reasonable-sounding is exactly the failure mode OGSM exists to prevent.
So use it to get to a first draft faster, and then do the hard part yourself. The assistant is evolving, and you should always check its answers.
