Toolsfactory builds online tools for teams that have to turn a plan into work. We started in 2014 as Jester Tools and have traded as Toolsfactory since January 2022.
We work closely with our customers across a wide range of sectors: government, trade associations, SMEs, financial institutions, healthcare and multinationals. More than 700 teams in 20 countries on four continents work with OGSM.online. We develop the platform with the people who use it, and customer feedback and information security set the priorities. Toolsfactory is ISO 27001:2022 certified and based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands.

Remco Bakker
Founder and owner
Remco translates what users need into software that helps them get there. He is also co-author of Bridging Strategy and Execution, a book on working with OGSM, and he writes the OGSM guides on this site.
Frank Groeneveld
Owner
Frank has been involved since Toolsfactory started in 2014, first as its software supplier through his own company and later as co-owner. He built the platform's first version, and the hosting, backup and security architecture behind our ISO 27001 certification is still his work.
We believe in the power of people
Methods, apps and AI all make us faster. None of them makes a choice for you. An OGSM is the plan of a group of people who decided together what they would and would not do, and that decision does not survive being automated away.
That belief shows up in the product. Progress reports are deliberately short, so the thinking happens in the room instead of in the form. Every AI suggestion arrives with an explanation of what changed, and you decide whether to keep it. Administrators can switch AI off for the whole environment. We build tools that prepare the conversation; the team still has to have it.
