Remco Bakker founded Toolsfactory in 2014 and has spent the years since helping teams turn strategy into results. He is the co-author, with Bas Schulten, of Bridging Strategy and Execution (the English edition of OGSM in de praktijk) and he writes the OGSM guides on this site.
The book
Bridging Strategy and Execution: How the OGSM one-page plan turns strategy into results was published by OGSM Leaders in 2025 (ISBN 9789083613307). It covers the four building blocks in depth, a four-step approach to writing a plan, the rhythm of doing, learning and adjusting, how to keep multiple OGSMs coherent, and a set of worked examples across industries.
The guides on this site draw on it. They do not replace it: the book goes considerably deeper than any web page reasonably can.

Where the experience comes from
Toolsfactory has supported teams through building and executing OGSM plans across a wide range of organizations: manufacturers, financial institutions, pension administrators, healthcare providers, municipalities, industry associations and international enterprises. Today more than 700 teams in 20 countries work with OGSM.online.
That range matters for the writing. The advice on this site is not derived from a model. It comes from watching what happens when real teams try to make sharp choices, and what happens in month seven when the plan meets reality.
